ABSTRACT
During the period of gas power supply, the microcomputer inside the gas meter will automatically subtract the gas power, when the purchased power is used up, the gas meter will automatically close valve and stop gas power supply. At this moment, the customer has to purchase gas again to open the valve of gas meter. With support of software and IC card reader-writer, gas administrative department can manage the remaining gas, total used gas, and total purchased gas etc. By this kind of meter can improve management efficiency, no need of house call fee-charge and avoid owing. MAIN TECHNIQUES
1. Prepaid RF card technology: using wireless data transmission, waterproof, moisture-proof and anti-attack.
2. Micropower consumption technology: adopt timing test technology, the usual power consumption of gas meter is less than 20μA, such technique can prolong service life of the batteries.
3. Electrical valve: adopt modern electrical valve, which work reliably and pressure loss is low.
4. Totally sealed design: all the circuits are sealed by high performance casting glue, there is no exposed electrode, good leak tightness.
5. Anti-attack of external electricity and magnet: If the gas meter is attacked by external electricity and magnet, it will automatically close valve and give indication.

INSTALATION
1. The installation shall be done by the professional person of Gas Power Company, and shall be installed according to the requirement for management of city gas engineering.
2. The gas meters are forbidden to be installed in the bedroom, bathroom and the place where there are flammable, explosive and dangerous goods.
3. The gas meter shall be installed in the good aeration place, and shall be convenient for swiping IC card, observation and overhaul.
4. The gas meter shall be installed vertically, cannot slant, and the vertical missing should be less than 1mm, the distance between gas meter and gas stove should be more than 300mm.
5. Do not install the open wire, concealed wire or power socket near the gas pipe, and the distance between them should be more than 300mm. there shouldn’t has electric wire or electrical equipment within 500mm of gas meter.
6. Please pay attention to the gas meter direction of inlet and outlet, and choose the right gas meter, it cannot be installed reversely.
7. Joint is end face seal, screw thread is forbidden to be filled with any sealing objects.
8. After finish the installation, please do the air tight testing of gas meter. And if it is qualified, then it can be used. Before inflaming, please discharge all the air in the gas meter and pipeline.
