Rosemount electromagnetic flowmeter 8732, 8712 and other common parameters detailed setting overview

1. Unlock the operation panel

● Long press "↑" for 3s, when prompted to press "→" to unlock, then long press "→" for 3s, when prompted to press "E" to unlock, then long press "E" for 3s, until it displays "Display unlocked" , Press "↑" or "↓" to enter the parameter menu.

2. The operation panel is locked

● Long press "↑" for 3s, when prompted to press "→" to lock, then press "→" for 3s, when prompted to press "E" to lock, then press "E" for 3s, until it displays "Display locked" Lock)".

3. Flow unit setting

● Press "↑" or "↓" to select "Basic Setup"-"Flow Units"-"PV Units", after selection (such as m3/hr), press "E "confirm.

4. Output 20mA corresponding to flow range setting

● Press "↑" or "↓" to select "Basic Setup"-"PV URV (20mA-measurement upper limit flow)", and then press "E" to confirm.

5. Pulse flow setting

● Press "↑" or "↓" to select "Detailed Setup"-"Output Config"-"Pulse"-"Pulse Scaling", after selection ( For example, 1PLUSE=0.1m3) Press "E" to confirm.

● Confirm the Line Size (pipe size): press "↓" to select "Basic Setup"-the Line Size (pipe size) and the nameplate can be the same

● Confirm the Cal Number (flow coefficient) and press "↓" to select "Basic Setup"-Cal Number (flow coefficient) is consistent with the nameplate.

Change the variable displayed on the transmitter panel

Press "↓" to select "Detailed Setup" ---LOC CONFIG (LOC configuration) ---FLOW DISPLAY (flow meter display)

Change the original Flowrate and% Span (instantaneous flow rate and span percentage) to Flowrate and Gross Total (instantaneous flow rate and total flow cumulative number)

6. The second line of the panel displays the cumulative flow setting

● Totalizer-config/contorl-security-LOI contorl-allowed;

●  Press "↑" or "↓" to select "Detailed Setup"-"LOI Config (flow configuration)"-"Flow, Total A (cumulative flow)", and then press "E" to confirm.

Note: If the total flow display still cannot be accumulated, the following parameters need to be checked:

● Totalizer-config/contorl-security-write protect-WP START/STOP- not protect

● Totalizer-config/contorl-security-LOI contorl-LOI start-start all

Totalizers> Config/Control>Security>LOI Control>LOI Start/stop (enable)

Totalizers> Config/Control>Security>Write Protect> WP Start/Stop (disable);

Totalizers>View Total A/B/C>Start ALL
